Break free from Addictions

I want to be famous / rich / healthy / focused / fit / creative / more centered ……but I just don’t have the time! - Does this Sound Familiar? But somehow, you have time to binge watch shows or stare at the ceiling for hours or play poker non stop / watch porn / shop online / check Instagram for hours or even binge drink all weekend? How come we find time for unhealthy habits? But we never have time for our goals? Procrastination is ignoring our soul purpose, our talent by wasting our time, energy and resources on unhealthy distractions. It’s important to train our mind to STOP thinking of reasons why we can’t get it done and START thinking of reasons why we must get it done today Every day procrastinating is another spent worrying about what we haven’t done which lowers are energy and makes us feel guilty. I am not saying don’t have fun but having fun by completing ignoring your goals is like using your credit card for fun until you get the bill. Every day, we need to live a balanced life with the right combination of a healthy body, mind and soul, family, work and play - by productively spending the hours of each day, in a more balanced and healthier way. The best way to start a healthy daily routine is to first introduce exercise on a regular basis, even if it’s just 30 minutes a day. Exercise provides a "high" that could be important for addicts trying to combat cravings. In addition to decreasing anxiety and stress, physical activity helps increase levels of endorphins and dopamine in the brain, chemicals that naturally give feelings of pleasure. The best way to heal addictions is to replace an addiction with a healthier habit that gives you a more natural high like exercising. What is an addiction? An addiction basically distracts us from facing things that are not going well for us by making us feel temporarily good. Addicts are mostly focused on receiving immediate reward of pleasure, even if it is unhealthy to make themselves FEEL BETTER. According to Maia Szalavitz , author of “Unbroken Brain: A Revolutionary New Way of Understanding Addiction.” People become addicted to experiences that protect them from life challenges they can’t deal with. Even love relationships can become addictive. "I fell in love with someone I believed was “The One.” Ever since then my whole life has been about him—and, as time went by, I’ve become more and more depressed.” When you focus all your energy on some one or something outside of yourself - you will lose yourself and your balance in life, even if you think it’s love. It is essential for your security and psychological well­being that you provide yourself with healthy routine of body mind and soul, that increases your feelings of self acceptance, and self love - by learning how to connect with your higher self. (Email for more info) To avoid addictions we need to: Sharpen our Skills to gain real life rewards. Understand how to be responsible and disciplined. Practice Values that help us develop the discipline to stay away from addictions/ distractions. Heal our anxiety and other emotional problems through ascension healing and chakra healing. Strengthen our Belief in ourselves to achieve our goals. People who are addicted normally: Are stuck in a lower vibration of fear, depression, and anxiety Don’t know how to heal them selves in negative Environments that have have caused low self confidence and anxiety and are stuck in a rut. How to stop break free from addictions and stop procrastinating. 1. Remove distractions/ temptations. Ask Family or Friends To Keep you away from Temptations. Count to 10 when tempted. 2. Calm your mind to re- focus (mindfulness meditation/ walk/ workout /deep breathing) .Renew your Belief in Yourself with the help of Ascension Healing. 3. Make a Realistic Step by Step Plan/ Routine. Prioritize tasks based on how important they are Identify when you’re most and least productive - schedule your tasks accordingly. Break Big Task into steps. Set deadlines for each step on your way to your final goals. 4. Enjoy Each Step of the way - don't try to be a perfectionist - first get into the flow of doing daily action steps . Get started by committing to only work on daily tasks for a few minutes like 20- 30mins to form a habit of doing these tasks. Remove distractions from your work environment. Count to ten before you indulge the impulse to procrastinate. 5. Reward Yourself Each day for Successful Completion of Daily Routine . Make daily goal calendar and tick the days on which you’ve successfully achieved it. Reward yourself when you successfully implement your plan of action each day and each week. ( Eg: Reward = Favourite Snack / Tv Show / Dinner Date/ Spa treatment ) I believe in you and your higher self believes in you. It’s time to believe in yourself . The new year 2020 is around the corner. It’s the end of a decade and the beginning of a new one. Now is the time to start planning a healthy and balanced routine.
