There are many teachings out there that have enlightened us that our thoughts and feelings are the expressions of our free will that creates our immediate reality. We have been shown the significance of positive thinking but IN REALITY, all of this is easier said than done. I mean yes, we can think a positive thought for a second but then all our fears, doubts, past experiences, judgements, social conditioning, low self esteem, over analysis and all kinds of negativity gets the better of us.

Why do we zone in on negativity more than positivity? Like if we go somewhere and happen to receive a couple of nice compliments but, maybe one person said something negative - why do we then forget all the lovely things said and then feel bad about that one negative comment - continuously replaying it in our head?

I know many people who try their best to be positive but then the first sign of things not going their way - they immediately lose momentum and start feeling miserable that all their positivity was in vain.

Today, I will like to give you three important tools to help you during such times when your positivity needs a lil boost.

1, To begin with the best way to deal with anything is to be centered - period. Don't expect the worst - instead stay calm and centered knowing that if you have given it your best then whatever happens will happen only for your best. Whether good or bad / positive or negative in the long run trust that whatever is going to happen is only for your best.. This way you are not setting yourself up for a down fall or expecting the worst - it's a WIN WIN through and through. If you look back you will see that when you gave it your best, everything that has happened in the past has made you wiser stronger and better in every way. You then start realizing that everything is a blessing and that the universe has only your positive growth and best interests at heart just like a loving mother.

Here are few powerful affirmations to maintain this belief ;

2, There are times when we are moving ahead positively but since we are human we may succumb to negative thoughts. During such times instead of letting it ruin all your positive thinking . Use this powerful Affirmation borrowed from Doreen virtue to stop the negative thought or emotion in its tracks:


3, My favourite is the violet fire. I teach this ancient tool of purification to all of my clients, friends and family. I use it during my daily morning practice to purify any negative thoughts/ people/ situations that are making me feel anxious, low or irritable.

In all the colours of the rainbow - violet, indigo , blue , green, yellow, orange , red.

Violet is the highest purest frequency while red is heavy and dense. It's amazing how nature is the best teacher. Therefore we use the Violet fire the purest and most powerful energy that can heal anything.

The key is to envision this pure and powerful violet fire burn away all negative thinking and fears - its like watching a violet flame inside my head rewiring my brain - like the best head massage one can think of - it's an incredible stress buster. The more visual one is the better - it helps to light up a white pr violet candle and stare at the flame for a while and then envision that majestic dancing flame in a violet colour burning within your head while you chant the below mantra with a steady rhythm until it calms you down and you feel centered again.

The violet fire does not harm anyone or destroy anything positive- it only surrounds whatever health issue, fear, person, situation or thought that you visualise and heals it for the best possible outcome for everyone involved. One can use the violet fire to heal the environment/ oceans/ animals/ earth/ universe anything - as long as you visualize the same along with love and hope in your heart .

You do not have to worry or stress about what that best outcome is - instead just surrender and trust that by handing the issue to the universe through the violet fire you are letting go of ego or any kind of negativity from interfering with your positive intent.


All these affirmations and tools are incredibly helpful - it's time to take back control of your thoughts and emotions to become the master of your self. You control your thoughts and emotions not the other way round. They always say follow your heart - never follow your mind :)
